MUMBAI: Residents are worried that the proposed flyover at Pedder Road may pose a threat and hamper rescue operations in case of a terror attack in the area.
The recent triple blasts in the city have unnerved locals, who voiced their concerns ahead of the public hearing by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) to assess the environmental safety of the flyover.
"If a high-intensity bomb is exploded by terrorists on and under the flyover, it will fall in our compounds. Also, the area lies on a fault line.
